Kingdom Days is a wild mix of over 150 years of rugged mining history combined with the modern humor of Breckenridge today. Long ago in 1859, Breckenridge was mistakenly excluded from some copies of the United States maps becoming known as Colorado’s Kingdom. “For an entire weekend, this real town turns upside down to pay tribute to gold fields and mining, exploration and adventure, brothels and saloons, booms and busts.” Breck Chamber.
Don’t miss the outhouse races- super popular event as teams push pull and drag their crafted out houses to the finish line on Main Street as the competitors try for the Gold Throne, the Silver Moon or the Bronze Bucket. This is a perfect weekend to come relax, learn, have fun and even see a wild western shoot out.
Here are our handpicked highlights of Events during Kingdom Days. For a full schedule of events see www.gobreck.com
