Breckenridge Wine & Spirits Festival - Labor Day Weekend
The Breckenridge Wine & Spirits Festival (formerly the Water House Wine Festival) on September 3, 2011 will indulge your taste buds with local wineries and distilleries! And all the proceeds are going to a great cause supporting the Breckenridge Film Festival and the Breckenridge Summit Foundation.
This Labor Day not only enjoy the Wine & Spirits Festival but also see what Breckenridge offers. Enjoy fabulous weather, exciting events like the Summit Foundation’s Rubber Duck Race, Sidewalk Sales on Main Street and the Great Divide Arts & Crafts Fair. Having recorded three albums in Fort Lauderdale, New York and Breckenridge, Carter brings a variety of original creations to the stage. Dru connects directly with the audience delivering a high energy acoustic rock performance. Dru will be joined on stage this year with Faith Crawford who moved to Breckenridge 8 years ago from Sandusky, OH. While in Ohio she performed in a Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band, Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band. Once in Colorado, she joined the trio, Who’z Drivin’ and recorded back up vocals. Trading Fours are located in Summit County, Colorado. Trading Fours Band performs jazz, folk, and original music featuring singer/songwriter Heidi Schmidt and Saxophonist Jeremiah Johnson. Trading Fours has been featured in local venues such as Silverheels, the Cala Inn, D'Vine Wine, Motherloaded, and The Moose Jaw. See their Website. |

4pm Main Stage
Ginga, hails from Boulder Colorado. Not only will they be performing Brazilian music into the evening but they will also get the crowd up and dancing with Samba lessons during their set. Ginga's ensemble specializes in playing the sounds of Brazil such as samba, pagode, forro, MPB, bossa nova, chorinho, and Brazilian jazz. A Ginga show can span the breadth of moods from sedate listening music to lively dancing and singing!

The annual Taste of Keystone is a great opportunity to savor the finest cuisine in the area and help out a good cause at the same time. The Summit County Mountain Mentors are the beneficiary of this wonderful one-day event. Participating restaurants include Ski Tip Lodge, Keystone Ranch, Alpenglow Stube, and the Bighorn steakhouse. The event provides live music all afternoon long to keep your foot tapping (or stomping) as you enjoy the Keystone cuisine experience.
The Free 35th Annual Gathering at the Great Divide Art Festival is nationally ranked in the top 200 of fine art shows in the United States. The tradition continues and will feature over 100 artists with a wide range of mediums including photography, wood, glass, jewelry and pottery just to name a few. 10am-6pm, Mon. 10-4pm.
Some would say, Oktoberfest is about the beer and we will surely quench their thirst. We will feature beers from a few of Germany’s finest breweries. My popular catering company Andy’s Kitchen will be preparing all of the food. Besides Brats, you can look forward to schnitzel and Knödel too! Each day will be packed with events including Liter Mug Holding, Leg Wrestling, Nail Driving competition. Parking is limited so bring a friend and carpool. Saturday, Sept 4th from 11:00 – 10:00 pm. Sunday , Sept 5 th from 11:00 to 10:00 pm.
