Whether you have never held a rod before and think flies are annoying insects, or you would like a refresher, these guides will be having you fishing in no time. Learn to cast and tie fishing knots while enjoying the river and the beautiful weather. Trips usually 2-3 hrs.
A great introductory trip for beginners to practice the skills guides will show them in the beginning of the trip or for advanced anglers enjoy great fishing on gorgeous parts of the river. Usually 4-5 hours.
On these day long trips you will get out to some of the premier fishing spots in the area. The Colorado, S. Platte, Arkansas, Williams Fork, Eagle and Blue River are a few of the rivers you may fish and it is not uncommon to catch big fish on these rivers- over 20 inches! The drives are as scenic as they get and with the whole day you will have plenty of time to practice your newfound skills. As an experienced angler you will get to fish to your hearts content all day long!
These float trips are one of kind experience on the Colorado River. The entire float trip, you’ll be surrounded by spectacular views that will make it hard to concentrate just on fishing! This is a great way to see some more unusual wild trout while seeing parts of the river you never would have seen.
On the overnight float trip, after your day floating and fishing the river, you boat to the campsite, wade-fish for the evening hatch and enjoy an evening around the campfire with a gourmet dinner. Then the following morning don't miss the experience of waking up to the crisp Colorado air and fishing from your tent, while coffee is brewing and a gourmet breakfast is waiting for you. The fishing, food and scenery make this trip an adventure of a lifetime.
There are many private, pristine areas available to fish around the Breckenridge area with many of them boating trophy sized fish. This can be half or full day trips and cost varies by location. Make your reservations at least two weeks in advance.
