Excellent one bedroom with tons of room. The murphy bed in the living room really opens up the floorplan and is alot more comfortable than a sofa bed. This unit is on the back of the complex and overlooks Blue River. There is construction (expected completion Dec 2010) across the river but the sound of the running water drowns out most of it. During the summer the unit can be a little warm but with the windows open and the sound of running water, it makes for a good night sleep. The pool has great views and has 4 hot tubs. There are 3 additional hot tubs with the fitness center. Although the pool and fitness center is a little bit of a walk, it is well worth the trip.
Very Nice & Good Location The condos were very nice and well-appointed. We had a two bedroom/2 bath unit on the ground floor. Everything about the unit was working and in good order and the beds were very comfy. Drinks by the fireplace was nice after a long day of skiing. The location is very good. It's about a 3 minute walk to the peak 9 super chair (I think that's the chair at least). There is a ski valet and rental shop right in the bottom floor of the main building of the resort. Plenty of dining / drinking options within walking distance or just take the FREE shuttle the resort offers to go a bit further down main street. I was certainly impressed with the food options for such a small town (I'm a foodie). The concierge was "interesting" but helpful in finding us an extreme snowmobile trip (it was extreme to say the least!) and getting us prime table times at the popular restaurants. While it's not a 5 star type property there is absolutely nothing to complain about in our experience. Had a picture perfect ski trip and would definitely return if I go skiing in Breck again.
Just returned from Main Street Station with five adults and four young children. The property was great - conveniently located to the mountain, town and restaurants/bars. Ski valet was great and all service levels were high. Condo was large enough and comfortable to accommodate all of us plus additional guests for apres ski. We will definitely be returning to this location. The location is great, walking distance to all restaurants and shops at main street... excellent apartment. we had a 1-bedroom unit and was perfect.. huge bath.. great kitchen, fireplace and super comfortable bed. Probably if you only go to ski... it's not the best option, but if you won't ski every day all the day, then it is a perfect choice. We found the service great, overall we loved it.
We stayed at the Hyatt Main Street Station #2302 for four days of spring skiing and had a fantastic time. The condo is new, spotless, spacious and fully equipped with everything you could ever need. Rugs so clean I felt comfortable walking barefoot! Nice fireplace, big screen TV, and TVs in each bedroom. We stayed in #2302 which had a nice balcony overlooking the little shops and restaurants below. There is some noise at 2 am when the bar across the way closes for the night, but it abated in five minutes, so no big deal. Other than that, the place was very peaceful and quiet.
The flagship property of ResortQuest Breckenridge, the Hyatt-managed Main Street Station is in an enviable location, right on Maggie Pond (which becomes a skating rink in winter), 600 feet from the nearest lift, but also on Main Street right downtown. Built in 2001, the property offers an upscale ski lodge ambience and a selection of warmly decorated guest rooms with oversized bathrooms and one to three bedrooms. The units are full-service condos with kitchens, gas fireplaces, and plenty of room to spread out. The amenities list is long and comprehensive, including a shopping arcade, an outdoor Olympic-size pool, and a 24-seat state-of-the-art theater guests can reserve.
