Breckenridge is conviently located between many of Colorado's best rafting areas including the Arkansas, Colorado, and Eagle Rivers. Breckenridge has one of Colorado's largest kayaking park. Located east of the Recreation Center on the Blue River and flows May through August. This 1800 foot park is the longest and includes 15 water features like splash rocks, drop structures, eddie pools, play waves, and s-curves. Riding down the kayak park is absolutely free of charge (although you might have to pay for kayak rental).
If huge white water isn't your favorite then head to Lake Dillon in Frisco. It is one of the largest lakes in the county and is popular with fisherman, sailors, and boaters. Enjoy the north part of the lake with islands and calm water.
